Abdifatah A. Omar

Abdifatah A. Omar has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 with Islamic Relief Worldwide where they worked as a Project Supervisor. Abdifatah A. then moved on to Dahabshiil Group in 2013 and worked as an Executive Admin until 2016. During their time at Dahabshiil Group, they also took on the role of Operations Manager from February 2019 to March 2020. After that, they joined Somtel in 2020 as the Head of Mobile Money until August 2021. Abdifatah A. returned to Somtel in 2022 and currently holds the position of Procurement & Supply Chain Manager. Additionally, they have taken on the responsibility of Mobile Money Director since January 2023.

Abdifatah A. Omar pursued higher education, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from SIMAD University. Abdifatah A. attended this institution from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Abdifatah enrolled in Kampala University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Political Economy.
