Pedro Freitas Oliveira

Pedro Freitas Oliveira has a diverse work experience in the legal field. From 2018 to the present, they have been the Head of Legal at Universo Sonae, where they ensure legal compliance in Sonae Financial Services and provides legal advice to different business areas of the Sonae group. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they served as the Head of Legal at Caixa Económica da Misericórdia de Angra do Heroísmo, where they managed a team of lawyers and focused on legal compliance in banking and credit activities. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at their own law firm, Freitas Oliveira Advogados, where they coordinated legal procedures in court and provided legal advice in various areas of law. Pedro also worked as a Contract Lawyer at Consilio LLC in 2016, where they conducted legal due diligence and investigated legal evidence. Additionally, as an Intern Lawyer at Lencastre Advogados from 2011 to 2012, they provided legal advice in business law, contracts, insolvency law, and enforcement procedures.

Pedro Freitas Oliveira has a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade de Coimbra, which they obtained between 2003 and 2009. Pedro further pursued their education at Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto, where they earned a Master's degree (LL.M.) in Business Law from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, Pedro has a Postgraduate degree in Banking, Stock Exchange and Insurance Law from Universidade de Coimbra, which they completed in 2012.
