Nicolas Chammas

Nicolas Chammas is the current VP of Strategic Finance at Sonder. Nicolas has also served as the VP and Head of Strategic Finance at Sonder Inc., and as the SVP, Global Corporate Development & Partnerships at Persado.

At Sonder, Nicolas has led fundraising totaling nearly $900M across multiple rounds of private and public financing, including Sonder's Jan 2022 IPO. Nicolas has also been responsible for all aspects of fundraising, Board material preparation, investor relations, long range forecasting and scenario analysis, and Investment Analysis / underwriting.

At Persado, Nicolas co-led a $20M+ strategic investment from one of the largest banks in the world, as well as Persado's venture debt funding round. Nicolas also reported to the CEO and was responsible for Persado’s Corporate Development and Strategic Partner initiatives, working closely with the CFO and investors on reporting and positioning Persado's financial performance.

Persado is a marketing language cloud that uses AI-generated language that resonates with any audience, segment, or individual. It is comprised of the world’s largest marketing language database, with over a million organized, tagged, and scored words, phrases, and images. Under Nicolas' leadership, Persado increased acquisition and retention while building long term consumer relationships. Nicolas Chammas has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Business/Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Nicolas also attended Crystal Springs Uplands High School.

Nicolas Chammas reports to Sanjay Banker, President & CFO. They work with Alan Lin - VP, Financial Planning & Analysis, Jon Charbonneau - VP, Investor Relations, and Ellie Ducommun - Director of Strategic Finance.
