Renee Broadbent

Renee Broadbent, MBA, CCSFP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Renee is currently the Chief Information Officer at SoNE HEALTH, where they oversee the organization's IT strategy and ensures data security compliance. Prior to this role, Renee served as the Vice President of Information Technology at SoNE HEALTH, where they collaborated with stakeholders to enhance clinical operations and promote value-based care.

Renee has also held leadership positions at Southern New Hampshire University as an Adjunct Professor, Wolf & Company, P.C. as a Senior Manager in VCISO Advisory Services, Holon Solutions as a Senior Vice President of Population Health, and UMass Memorial Medical Center as an Associate Vice President of Population Health IT and Strategy. In these roles, they focused on developing and implementing strategic plans, evaluating technology systems, and aligning them with population health and value-based services.

Additionally, Renee served as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Accountable Care Associates, where they played a vital role in the development of the organization, including the establishment of a national call center and Health Information Exchange. Renee also co-founded the internal team for Privacy and Security to ensure data security on a national level.

Earlier in their career, Renee founded their own consulting company, RLB Consulting, and held positions at ECHN as an Associate Chief Information Officer and Information Security Officer, Robinson Consulting as a Vice President and Managing Partner, and Yale New Haven Hospital as a Senior Management Consultant.

Renee's work experience demonstrates their expertise in IT strategy, data security, population health, and value-based care. Renee holds an MBA degree and is certified in Certified Cybersecurity Framework Practitioner (CCSFP).

Renee Broadbent holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Entrepreneurial Thinking & Innovative Practices, which they obtained from Bay Path University from 2016 to 2018. Renee also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from Elms College, earned between 1980 and 1984. Renee has additional certifications including HITRUST CCSFP from HITRUST in October 2022, as well as Green Belt and Yellow Belt from LEAN Six Sigma in 2016.
