Helen Ryder

Helen Ryder has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the HR and people management field. Helen is currently serving as the Director, People, EMEA at Songtradr, where they empower brands, artists, and labels to excel on an international stage. Prior to this, they worked as the Global People Director at MassiveMusic, where they delivered impactful strategies and sonic brand identities for famous brands. Helen also served as a People Partner at MVF, where they transformed how businesses find new customers. In addition, Helen has experience as the Founder of The WorkLife Co., where they consulted for businesses in creative, media, retail, and tech industries. Helen has also held HR Business Partner roles at Universal Music Group, where they led the wellbeing and mental health strategy, and at John Lewis, where they served as a Key Advisor to HR initiatives and concerns. Overall, Helen Ryder has a strong track record in people management, delivering effective strategies, and enriching working lives.

Helen Ryder obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Performing Arts (Music) from De Montfort University, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Helen then pursued further education at Buckinghamshire New University from 2002 to 2004, where they earned the degree of MCIPD from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Before attending university, Helen attended Wycombe High School from 1992 to 1994. Prior to their high school education, they completed their secondary education at Pipers Corner School, from 1988 to 1992, although no specific degrees or fields of study are mentioned for these institutions.
