Joseph Bissol

Joseph Bissol has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2000 as an intern and web application developer at Dow Jones, they developed an intranet site and created shell scripts for systems automation. From 2001 to 2011, Joseph worked at HealthNow Administrative Services (HNAS) as an application developer and later as a senior software architect. Joseph played a key role in the transition from VB 6 to C# and .Net and led the adoption of Agile development methods. In 2011, Joseph joined Comcast as a software architect and later became the principal platform architect, overseeing platform architecture and establishing coding and solution standards. In 2018, they joined EPAM Systems as a senior solutions architect before moving on to Sonic Automotive in 2022 as a principal engineer.

Joseph Bissol obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science & Information Systems from Penn State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their degree, Joseph has also obtained several certifications related to Sitecore development, including the Sitecore 10 .NET Developer Certification in 2022, the Sitecore® Experience Solution 9 Developer Certification in 2020, and the Sitecore® Experience Solution 9.2 Developer Certification in 2019. Joseph also holds other certifications such as the Sitecore® Certified Platform Associate Developer in 2017, the Sitecore® Platform Essentials for Developers eLearning in 2017, and the Web Site .NET Developer Certification for Sitecore CMS 6.4 in 2011.
