Srirupa Das is a seasoned professional in the fields of quality assurance, genomic science, and diagnostic assay development. Currently serving as the Lead QA/QC & Genomic Scientist at Sonic Healthcare USA since April 2021, Srirupa oversees the development and management of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control plan for the ThyroSeq Laboratory while handling nucleic acid extraction and sequencing processes and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines. Prior experience includes leading research initiatives at Nuvance Health, focusing on diagnostic assays for infectious diseases and pancreatic cancer, and conducting independent research on plant pathology at Bose Institute. Srirupa holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, along with a Master's in Genetics and a Bachelor's in Zoology from the University of Calcutta.
