Weiming Li

Weiming Li is an experienced professional in the field of digital signal processing (DSP) and embedded systems with a career spanning over 17 years. Currently serving as the VP of DSP at Sonical Inc since August 2021, Weiming focuses on embedded operating system development, machine learning initiatives, and project management. As a consultant at Audicus Consulting since November 2019, Weiming specializes in algorithm development and project consulting. Previous roles include Customer Project Manager at Qualcomm Cambridge and CSR, where responsibilities included managing Tier 1 customer projects. With a background as a DSP Engineering Team Leader and DSP Software Engineer at Sontia Logic Limited and an earlier DSP Software Engineer role at CSR, Weiming has developed extensive expertise in DSP software development. Weiming began the professional journey as a placement student at Arm, engaging in CPU validation. Education was completed at the University of York.
