Tmima Koren

Tmima Koren is a Senior Software Engineer at Dell SonicWALL since February 2012, specializing in the development and enhancement of the Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) engine for Dell firewalls. Prior to this role, Tmima worked at Cisco Systems from April 1999 to August 2011, focusing on the development of charging features for LTE Gateways and extending the LTE protocol. Tmima's earlier experience includes positions at WinNET, where embedded control software for wireless LAN transceivers was developed, and at NetManage, where significant contributions to the TCP/IP protocol stack were made, along with a promotion to system group leader. Tmima holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University, a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Weizmann Institute of Science.
