Manuel Dafonseca

Manuel DaFonseca has had an extensive career in the pharmaceutical industry. Manuel currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Sonnet BioTherapeutics, Inc. Prior to this role, they worked at Merck as the Clinical Research Director for US Oncology & Early Stage Development. Before Merck, Manuel was the Director of Clinical Operations at Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals and the Director of Project Management & Scientific Assessment at Forest Laboratories. Manuel also held executive positions at Optimer Pharmaceuticals and Merck (formerly Schering-Plough). Manuel began their career at the Schering-Plough Research Institute, where they worked in various roles, including Associate Director of Clinical Operations and Research Scientist.

Manuel DaFonseca has pursued a Master's degree in Zoology/Physiology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Additionally, they have also completed a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from the same university.
