Karen Moranski is an experienced academic leader who has held various roles at both Sonoma State University and University of Illinois Springfield. At Sonoma State University, Karen currently serves as the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs where Karen focuses on equity and inclusion in higher education. Prior to this, Karen served as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Education at University of Illinois Springfield, overseeing a wide range of academic programs and initiatives. Karen holds a Ph.D. in Medieval English Literature from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
