Emma Woods

Emma Woods has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 as a Hardware Characterization Engineer at Nortel. Emma then worked as a Technical Manager at Redten Digital, where they designed and developed various products. Woods later joined Hewlett-Packard as a Specialist Product Engineer, focusing on inkjet products. In 2008, they joined Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics as a Senior Product Engineer. From 2015 to 2019, Woods worked at BD in various roles, including Senior Process Engineer, Projects Leader, and Associate Director and later Director of Manufacturing Integration. Emma'sresponsibilities included optimizing operational architecture and supply chain, as well as managing the engineering portfolio and delivering savings. Currently, they are the SVP Operations, Americas at Sonova Group, where they are responsible for end-to-end operational leadership, transformation, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Emma Woods attended Dundalk Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Diploma in Electronic Engineering. Emma then went on to study at Ulster University from 1997 to 2000, earning a BEng degree in Electronic Systems.
