Derek Lohnes

Derek Lohnes has extensive work experience in software development and management roles. Derek is currently the Director of Software Development at Sonrai Security since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at IBM for a significant period, starting in 2004. During their time at IBM, they held various roles including Senior Development Manager, Development Manager, Development Integration Lead, and Director of Integration Services. Their responsibilities included facilitating the integration of acquisitions, leading development teams, and managing QRadar Integrations Services. Before joining IBM, Derek Lohnes served as a Development Team Lead at CARIS from 1996 to 2004.

Derek Lohnes completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree in the field of Computer Science from Acadia University, attending from 1990 to 1996.
