Aaron Ishikawa

Aaron Ishikawa has a diverse work experience in the software and technology industry. Aaron started their career in 2002 as a Software Developer at the National University of Singapore, where they developed a prototype Firefox plugin for translation and contextual phrase recommendation.

In 2004, Aaron co-founded Tapi Data Solutions and served as the CTO, responsible for collecting business requirements, designing solution architecture, leading technical development, and resolving key technical challenges.

From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Shopee, where they held various roles. As a Principal Engineer, they built the recommendation system from scratch, including algorithm and architecture, and collaborated with ML researchers and engineers on ML algorithms and scalable online AI services. Aaron also worked as an Expert Software Engineer during this time.

In 2018, Aaron joined Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Senior Software Manager, where they currently hold a position.

Aaron Ishikawa holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore. The start and end year of their educational pursuit in this field are not provided.
