Software QA Analyst II at Sony Interactive Entertainment

Bart Pilarczyk's work experience begins with their current role as a Software QA Analyst II at Sony Interactive Entertainment, which they have held since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Waterloo from May 2016 to August 2019, where they focused on the finite element modeling of the human body. During this time, they developed new FE models for skin, skeletal muscle, and adipose tissue. In addition to their academic work, Bart also served as a Teaching Assistant for multiple semesters during their time at the University of Waterloo, where they assisted with various tasks such as tutorial preparation, grading, and providing extra help for students.

Before joining the University of Waterloo, Bart worked as a Software QA Engineer at Sabre Holdings from October 2015 to May 2016, and as an Automated Tests Engineer at SEARCH Safety Research Engineering from November 2011 to September 2015. Bart also gained experience at Polskie Radio as a Specialist from March 2007 to April 2009, and at Crowley Data Poland as an Assistant from September 2005 to June 2007.

Bart Pilarczyk completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 2004 to 2008, they attended Warsaw University of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Robotics.

From 2008 to 2011, they continued their studies at Warsaw University of Technology and received a Master of Science degree in Robotics.

In 2010, they also studied at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, focusing on Biomechanics.

In 2010, they pursued further education at Instituto Superior Técnico and earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering until 2011.

Finally, from 2016 to 2019, Bart Pilarczyk enrolled in the University of Waterloo, where they completed a Master's degree in Biomechanics.

In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications. Bart completed the "Fundamentals of University Teaching" at the University of Waterloo in August 2019. Bart also completed online courses such as "Introduction to Programming for Musicians and Digital Artists", "Survey of Music Technology", and "Learn to Program: The Fundamentals" offered by Coursera in 2014, 2013, and 2013 respectively.
