Nihar Vakil

Nihar Vakil has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality engineering. Nihar started their career at Education Sports Mentoring LLC as a Quality Assurance Intern in 2010. Later, they interned as a QA Engineer at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering in 2010-2011.

In 2011, Nihar joined Mocean Mobile as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and worked their way up to QA Lead. Nihar held this role until 2014. During their time at Mocean Mobile, they also served as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Following their tenure at Mocean Mobile, Nihar joined PubMatic in 2014 as a Lead QA Engineer for their Mocean Mobile division. Nihar worked there until 2015, gaining valuable experience in leading quality assurance efforts.

Next, Nihar worked at OpenX from 2015 to 2017 as a Sr SDET, further honing their skills in software testing and development.

In 2017, Nihar joined SmartDrive Systems as a Senior Software Development Engineer Test. Nihar contributed to the company's software quality engineering processes until 2019.

Most recently, Nihar is working at Sony Interactive Entertainment, starting in 2019. Nihar has held various roles within the company, including Senior Quality Engineer, Software Quality Engineering Lead, and currently serves as the Manager of Software Quality Engineering.

Throughout their career, Nihar has gained a wealth of experience and expertise in software quality engineering, demonstrating their strong commitment to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Nihar Vakil holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. Nihar also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
