David Gaul has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David started their career in 1990 as a Recreation Coordinator at the Town of Milton. After that, they worked at Indigo as a Sales Development Manager from 1999 to 2001. David then joined Banana Republic as a Store Manager from 2001 to 2003.
From 2004 to 2009, David worked at the Sherson Group, first as a Store Manager and later as a Merchandise Planning Manager. In 2009, they joined Universal Pictures as a Category Manager, where they collaborated with the brand and home entertainment division sales team to develop category strategies.
In 2011, David Gaul joined Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Sales Analyst. David subsequently held various roles within the company, including Category Manager for Canada National Sales from 2014 to 2020, and Senior Category Manager for Channel Sales in the Americas from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the Senior Commercial Category Manager for Channel Sales in the Americas, where their main goal is to establish a leading position for PlayStation products and dominate the competition across all sales channels and advertising platforms.
David Gaul obtained their Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from McMaster University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Subsequently, they pursued studies in Marketing Management at Western University and Business Law at UCLA, though no specific start and end years were provided for these programs.
