Ian Biggar

Ian Biggar has over 28 years of work experience, primarily in the IT and gaming industry. Ian currently works for Sony Interactive Entertainment as the IT Operations Center Lead, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an IT Operations Center Analyst II at the same company from July 2019 to July 2022. Before joining Sony Interactive Entertainment, Ian worked as a Network Operations Center Analyst at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe from April 2018 to July 2019. Ian also has extensive experience at the same company, where they held the position of QA Team Leader from January 2004 to April 2018. In this role, they managed a team of 6 testers, created test plans, tracking sheets, and occasionally took on supervisor duties. Additionally, Ian worked as a QA Submissions Tester at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe from January 2001 to January 2004. Their earliest work experience was as a Sales Assistant at Traidcraft from January 1993 to January 1995.

Ian Biggar began their education journey in 1988 at St Margaret's CofE School, where they studied until 1995. Ian then pursued further education and completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing and Systems Development at Arden University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to this, Ian completed a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Computer Science from St Helen's College between 2002 and 2005.
