Miguel Contreras has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Miguel began their career in 2003 as a Non Commissioned Officer in the US Army, serving until 2011. In 2013, they took on the role of Lead Modeler at a Freelance/Game design initiative. The following year, they worked as a 3D Character Artist for the Freelance/Global Game Jam. In 2014, Miguel started working as a Freelance 3D Artist, which lasted until 2022. In 2015, they joined Sony Interactive Entertainment, first as a Lead Technical Artist, and later transitioning to the role of Senior Technical Artist.
Miguel Contreras pursued their education at The Art Institutes from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they successfully completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in the field of Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation.
