Lucy Ball is a seasoned professional in insight and analytics, currently serving as Senior Director of Insight & Analytics at Sony Music Entertainment since March 2010. In this role, Lucy established the UK's first Analytics team in response to the shift from CDs to streaming, focusing on consumer streaming data to enhance business decision-making. Previously, Lucy held positions such as Head of Marketing Analytics and Senior Insight Manager, where the introduction of "big data" methodologies transformed the Insight team. Early career experience includes roles as Insight Manager, Junior Insight Manager, and Marketing Analyst, as well as Media Effectiveness Analyst at Starcom MediaVest Group, where Lucy utilized econometric modeling to assess marketing effectiveness for major clients. Lucy holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick.
