Akira Yoshikaie is currently working as a Lead Optical Engineer at Sony since April 2011. Prior to that, Akira worked as an Optical Engineer at Sony and made significant contributions to the development of optical technologies for smart glasses and augmented reality displays. Akira also served as a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University, focusing on metasurface optics for near-eye displays. Akira holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Bioscience from Waseda University.
