Bac Nguyen Cong

Bac Nguyen Cong is a Senior Engineer at Sony since October 2019, with a strong background in computer science and machine learning. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student at Ghent University from November 2015 to October 2019, and a Summer Internship at radix.ai in 2018, where work focused on converting text features into numerical values for machine learning algorithms. Bac also served as a researcher at the University of Valencia’s Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision Lab from November 2017 to January 2018, supported by a scholarship from the Research Foundation-Flanders. Bac holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ghent University, a Master’s Degree from Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the same institution.
