Cate Haywood is an accomplished legal professional with extensive expertise in privacy and data protection within prominent global organizations. Currently serving as Vice President & General Manager and Global Head of Privacy at Sony since February 2016, Cate has progressively advanced through various positions, including Senior Director and Director of Privacy. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Privacy Counsel for EMEA at Expedia, Digital & Privacy Counsel (Interim) at Channel 4, and Lawyer in the Global Data Privacy Group at Hunton & Williams LLP. Cate's legal career is further highlighted by positions at Harbottle & Lewis, Addleshaw Goddard, The Walt Disney Company, Acturis Limited, and Accenture. Educational credentials include a Law degree from King's College London and completion of the LPC at the College of Law, Guildford.
