Ranko Tanabe

Ranko Tanabe currently serves as the General Manager of the Risk & Control Department at Sony Group HQ since April 2022 and holds the position of Statutory Auditor at Sony Global Solutions starting from June 2023. Previously, Ranko held the role of Senior Manager in the Risk & Control Department at Sony Mobile Communications from July 2017 to March 2022 and was the Director of the Office of Audit on Information Systems at the Board of Audit of Japan as a secondee from Sony from August 2019 to June 2021. Prior experience includes working as an IT Audit Manager at KPMG Japan from April 2011 to July 2017 and as an SAP Consultant at SAP Japan from April 1998 to November 2010. Ranko is currently pursuing a Master of Technology in Information Technology at the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology and holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from GLOBIS University.
