Lorena Berrón Cadenas has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 with a Biomedical Engineer Intern role at Alandra Medical. Lorena then worked as a Manufacturing Intern at Semka Biomedical Technologies in 2013, followed by a Biomedical Engineer Intern and Biomedical Engineering Support Professional role at TecSalud del Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2015, they were a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and in 2016 they were a Visiting Student at the Microfluidics and Nanofluidics Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 2017 to 2019, they were an R&D Engineer at Castelec Internacional S.A. de C.V., and from 2019 to 2022, they were a Product Manager at Astrum. Currently, they are a Product Manager and Research Associate at the University of San Francisco School of Management, where they have aided in product launch and customer onboarding by training in the use of Data Analytics for Impact Measurement, and designed and developed MVP and guided the scoping for MVP validation process.

Lorena Berrón Cadenas obtained a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2014. In 2021, they began pursuing a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of San Francisco School of Management. In addition, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn and Coursera, including Agilidad estratégica, Customer-Centric IT Strategy, Cómo desarrollar la presencia ejecutiva, Fundamentos de iniciativa empresarial, and Grammar and Punctuation.
