Social Impact - Lead at SoPact

Shiji Abraham has worked in a variety of roles in the IT and social impact sectors since 1996. In 1996, they began their career as a Senior Faculty at Aptech Computer Education. In 2000, they became the IT Coordinator at SEWA, where they were responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the IT infrastructure and mentoring and training staff for technology adoption. From 2004 to 2011, they worked at the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, first as Manager IT and then as Manager - Skill Development & IT. In 2011, they moved to CARE India as Manager IT, and in 2018, they became Manager Resource Mobilisation at Janvikas - India. In 2021, they began their current role as Social Impact Lead at SoPact, a California-based technology social enterprise committed to helping organisations measure impact by directly involving their stakeholders.

Shiji Abraham obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Gujarat University in 1996. In 2015, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from the University of Hyderabad. Additionally, they have a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems.
