Michael F.

Michael F. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Michael is currently working at Sophos as the VP of Product Management, DevSecOps and Automation. Prior to this, they held positions at Sophos as the VP and Field CTO, DevSecOps and Cloud, and VP of Engineering, DevSecOps and Automation. Michael is also involved in various organizations such as OASIS, where they are the Co-Chair of the ODHF Technical Committee, and Tampa Bay Wave, where they serve as a Major Donor/CyberTech on the X Advisory Council. Additionally, they are an Advisor/Investor at Phylum and EMPEQ. In their previous work experience, they were a Presenter at All Day DevOps and a member of the DevSecOps Working Group at the Cloud Security Alliance. Michael also served as a Member of Azure Advisors at Microsoft and participated as a Guest Speaker at BrightTALK. Furthermore, they are an Alumni Captain and Tribe Member at Veterans In Residence, an initiative for veteran and military family member entrepreneurs.

Michael F. completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from Seattle University from 2017 to 2019. Michael also obtained a Certificate in Facebook Cybersecurity from CodePath in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Application Development from North Seattle College during the period of 2016 to 2017. In the early stages of their education, Michael studied Computer and Information Sciences, General at the College of Southern Nevada from 2003 to 2005. Michael also pursued Aircraft Armament Systems Technology at the Community College of the Air Force from 2001 to 2004.
