Chris Wilson is currently the Head of Schools at Sora Schools. Prior to this, they served as the Head of School at The Bement School from July 2016 to June 2020. In this role, they led academics, development, and operations while overseeing 62 faculty and staff. They also directed fundraising activities, including soliciting major gifts and serving as donor steward.

Under Wilson's leadership, The Bement School saw an increase in annual revenue by 30% over four years and an increase in net assets by 17%. Additionally, boarding capacity was boosted and $1M+ in additional revenue was generated by acquiring and renovating new dormitories. The school also saw an improvement in secondary school placement outcomes by strengthening curriculum rigor, raising admissions standards, and creating a full-time administrative role to support students in pursuing enrollment.

Before their time at The Bement School, Wilson founded Christopher Wilson Strategic Consulting, a firm that provides fundraising guidance and support to educational institutions.

Chris Wilson has a Master of Arts in Theirtory from Stanford University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Loyola University Maryland. Chris also has a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory from the University of Maryland.

They work with Angela Anskis - Humanities Expert, Maria Hernandez - Health Sciences Track Advisor, and Ole Kröger - Software Engineering. Their manager is Wesley Samples, Co-Founder. and Emily Smith - Middle School Director reports to Chris Wilson.
