Kendra (Langley) Castro, M.Ed, currently serves as the High School Academic Director at Uplift Education since June 2020. Previously, Kendra held the position of High School Dean at Uplift Education - Hampton Preparatory School District from July 2014 to June 2020, where responsibilities included instructional coaching for Grades 9-12, managing scholar culture and discipline for Grades 11-12, coordinating the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, overseeing ACT intervention structures, and serving as the campus testing coordinator for the 2018-2019 school year. Kendra also contributed as a Content Teacher Leader, developing the AP/MYP World History curriculum and leading professional development for World History teachers, as well as teaching AP/IB World History. Kendra earned a Master of Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's degree in History from The University of Dallas. Education was furthered at Visitation Academy.
