Gabrielle Dorais

Gabrielle Dorais is the current General Counsel at Sorare. Prior to this, they were with Meero from February 2019 to January 2022, where they served as VP Legal and established the legal function, leading the legal team. Gabrielle actively participated in Meero's Series C (230M) and led global expansion and subsidiary opening worldwide. Gabrielle also served as Senior Legal Counsel - Digital Business at Ubisoft from September 2017 to February 2019, where they supported top management and led the closing of key digital distribution, licensing and streaming partnerships with GAFAs, first parties and other major gaming industry players. Before that, they were Legal Commercial Counsel for the Americas at Criteo from August 2015 to August 2017, and Legal Counsel at Yellow Pages Group / Groupe Pages Jaunes – Canada from July 2011 to August 2014. Gabrielle started their career as a Dispute Resolution Attorney at Donati Maisonneuve from May 2008 to November 2010.

Gabrielle Dorais has a Master of Laws from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Certificate in Law and Technology. Gabrielle also has a J.D. in North American Common Law from Université de Montréal, and an LL.B in Civil Law from the same school. Gabrielle is certified by the New York State Bar Association as a member in good standing, and they are also certified by the Canadian Bar Association and the Barreau du Québec as members in good standing.

They are on a team with Aalok Kapoor - Head of Marketplace, Adrien Montfort - CTO, and Guillaume Marcerou - Director, Product & Privacy. Gabrielle Dorais reports to Nicolas Julia, CEO & Co-Founder.
