Yongxin Mu

Yongxin Mu is a Scientist II at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. since June 2020, previously serving as Scientist I within the same organization. Prior to this role, Yongxin Mu was an Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California San Diego from December 2010 to May 2020, where research involved exploring the role of OGT in heart development and identifying key targets during this process. Additionally, Yongxin Mu contributed as a Postdoctoral Researcher, establishing over 10 gene knockout/knockin/transgenic mouse models while analyzing phenotypes related to heart and skeletal muscle development. Yongxin Mu holds a Ph.D. in Virology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, both obtained from Wuhan University.
