Dr. Blanca Lizaola-Mayo has a long history of professional experience. Blanca has been a Gastroenterologist & Transplant Hepatologist at the Mayo Clinic since 2018, a Chief Medical Resident at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center since 2017, a Founder and 100% Rehydrated at SOS Hydration Inc since 2013, and a Clinical Research Coordinator at UCSF since 2012.

Blanca Lizaola-Mayo, MD completed a General Surgery Residency Program at Hospital Angeles de las Lomas from 2010-2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medical Surgeon from Universidad Anáhuac between 2003-2009. Blanca also completed an Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) program at the Mexican Red Cross from 2001-2002. Additionally, they are currently a Resident in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. In October 2018, they obtained certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
