Michael Epp

Michael Epp has over 26 years of work experience in the field of security and emergency management. Michael is currently the Director of Global Security at Sotera Health LLC, where they are responsible for developing comprehensive security programs to protect the company from potential threats. Prior to this, they worked at Nordion as the Manager of Corporate Security and Emergency Management, leading a team responsible for addressing all aspects of enterprise security risk. Before Nordion, Michael was the Manager of Security Operations at the Bank of Canada, where they managed the central bank's physical and personnel security programs. Michael also gained extensive experience in emergency management during their time as the Manager of Protection, Grounds, and Call Centre Services at Queensway Carleton Hospital.

Michael Epp attended Carleton University from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a BA in Psychology. Prior to that, they attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 1987 to 1989, where they earned an Honours degree in Law and Security Administration. In addition to their formal education, Michael also holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² and as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International.
