Alicia Gaines

Alicia Gaines is a talented creative director and brand designer with more than twelve years of experience. Alicia has worked independently since 2010, creating award-winning brand identities, providing creative direction, strategy, retail packaging, and illustration. Alicia also has a strong background in directing, editing, and color correcting music videos. Alicia values diversity and inclusion for Black designers in the industry. Throughout their career, Alicia has held various positions, including Senior Designer at Equator Design and Bluedog Design, LLC, and Designer at CIULLA ASSOC. Alicia has also served as Art Director at Alchemy Brand Group, where they managed illustrators, photographers, and other designers while also working on brand strategy and presenting findings to clients. Alicia has worked on multiple freelance projects and has experience in working for magazines, such as Qlix Magazine, where they established a new look and feel and prepared issues for print. Alicia has also been a candidate at 24 Seven Inc. and The Want Club. Currently, Alicia is the Creative Director at Soulsight.

Alicia Gaines attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2006 until 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications, with a focus on Painting.
