Jia Hao

Jia Hao, Ph.D., started working at the University of Southern California in 2017 as a doctoral candidate until 2022. During this time, they also served as the Director of Mentorship for USC Women in Engineering at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering from April 2021 to May 2022. In July 2022, Jia Hao joined Sound Biologics as a Sr. Associate Scientist and Project Lead.

Jia Hao holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Materials Science from the University of Science and Technology Beijing (2011-2015). Jia then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University (2015-2017) before completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California (2017-2022). Additionally, they obtained certifications including a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I and II.
