Ty Brender

Ty Brender is an experienced scientist with a career spanning over two decades in the fields of immunology and oncology. Currently, Ty serves as a Scientist at Sound Biologics since June 2021, following a four-year tenure at Silverback Therapeutics. Prior experience includes positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb where Ty advanced from Scientist I to Scientist II, focusing on immuno-oncology assay development for T cells and antigen-presenting cell targets. Earlier roles at ZymoGenetics involved immunology and oncology assay development, starting from an Associate Scientist to a Research Assistant. Ty's career began as a phlebotomist at the Puget Sound Blood Center. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Washington State University.
