John Gill

John Gill has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John currently works as a Technical Program Manager at SoundCommerce since 2022. Prior to this, John worked at Sinclair Broadcast Group from 2016 to 2021. During their time at Sinclair, they held roles such as Senior Technical Product Owner and Senior Technical Program Manager, where they oversaw the management and delivery of streaming video content through the Content Management System. Before Sinclair, John worked at Premera Blue Cross as a Technical Project Manager, managing projects in the Sales and Underwriting business units. John also worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Project Manager, where they planned and implemented improvements to the independent agent experience. John's experience also includes working at McGraw-Hill Education as a Digital Program Manager and at Getty Images as a Program Manager, Technology. Additionally, they held roles at LexisNexis as a Product Manager for Concordance and as a Development Program Manager. John has also worked at Microsoft, ProBusiness Services, Inc, and Mammography Reporting System, gaining experience in program management, project management, technical implementation, and software development.

John Gill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University, which they obtained between 1991 and 1996. In 2012 and 2013, they earned a Certificate in Software Product Management from the University of Washington. John also holds additional certifications, including CompTIA Project+ (obtained in January 2016), Pragmatic Marketing certifications in Launch, Market, Build, Focus, and Foundations (obtained in September and July 2013), Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master (obtained in November 2018), and CompTIA A+ ce (obtained in October 2015).
