Kelley King, M.Ed, ACC

Kelley King, M.Ed, ACC has extensive work experience in the education sector. From 2002 to 2010, they worked as a Classroom Teacher, Instructional & Data Coach, Teach Baton Rouge Teacher Advisor, and B.E.S.T. Mentor Teacher at the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Kelley then joined District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) as a Master Educator from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Kelley became a Leadership Coach at Leading Educators, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they also served as an External Facilitator at UnboundEd.org from 2018 onwards. In 2018, they joined Teach For America as the Director of Teacher Learning & Development, a role they held until 2020.

In 2020, Kelley founded their own coaching services company, Kelley King Coaching Services LLC, where they currently serve as the Founder & Certified Coach. Kelley King, M.Ed, ACC, has an extensive education history. Kelley obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, Kelley pursued a Masters of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from the same institution, attending from 2003 to 2005. Kelley then furthered their education by obtaining an Educational Specialist Degree in Reading Teacher Education from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Kelley has also obtained various certifications. Kelley became an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation in April 2021. Furthermore, they completed the Sounding Board 1:1 Leadership Coach Credential from Sounding Board, Inc. in May 2023. Kelley also holds a certification in CCL Assessment from the Center for Creative Leadership, which they obtained in February 2023. Moreover, they completed the DEI for Practitioners Program offered by The Sarah Jane Academy in January 2023. Finally, Kelley is a member of the International Coaching Federation, as demonstrated by their ICF Member Badge obtained in February 2021.
