Pushkar Ghosh Choudhuri

Pushkar Ghosh Choudhuri has a long and varied work experience. Pushkar started their career in 1995 as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they conducted research sponsored by the U.S. Navy. In 1996, they moved to Engineering Mechanics Research Corporation as a Software Development Engineer, where they developed finite element computer software for application primarily in the automotive industry. In 1997, they joined Pacific-Sierra Research Corporation as Software Development & Support Manager, where they developed software for computer simulation of fluid dynamics and heat transfer processes. Pushkar also originated, marketed and successfully completed consulting projects for automotive, aerospace, chemical, semiconductor, and biotechnology companies.

From 2001 to 2008, Pushkar Ghosh Choudhuri worked at Lehman Brothers in various roles, including Senior Vice President, Vice President and Associate. During this time, they executed and originated corporate finance and M&A projects in the Financial Institutions Group, covering financial services companies in the depository and specialty finance sectors.

In 2008, they moved to Barclays as Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group in Los Angeles. Pushkar was responsible for business development and coverage of financial services companies.

In 2014, Pushkar Ghosh Choudhuri joined ForwardLine Financial as Chief Financial Officer, where they provided strategic leadership for the company, prepared strategic plans and 3-year budgets, and managed relationships with investors, creditors, shareholders and other constituencies. Pushkar also became a Founding Board Member of California Collegiate Charter School.

In 2018, they joined Pathmatics, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer. In 2013, they joined Boon Realty LLC as Managing Partner, where they invested in single and multi-family properties, and acquired, renovated and rent-out real estate properties.

Currently, Pushkar Ghosh Choudhuri is working at SoundSplore Inc. as Chief Financial Officer since 2022.

Pushkar Ghosh Choudhuri's education history includes a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (1986-1990), a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University (1990-1995), and an MBA in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management (1999-2001). Additionally, they have obtained certifications from FINRA for Series 24, Series 63, and Series 7.
