Abed Halawi

Abed Halawi is a seasoned technology professional with over a decade of experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Plant App at Source.ag since April 2023, Abed focuses on creating innovative software solutions that support greenhouse growers through the integration of AI and sustainability practices. Prior to this role, Abed worked as Principal Software Engineer at Sociata, where contributions were made to the influencer marketing management platform, along with leadership roles in significant projects for MBC, the largest broadcasting network in MENA, involving various popular entertainment shows. Abed's experience also includes roles as a Full-stack Developer at Prontis and Splendor Telecom UK Ltd., where foundational programming skills were honed. Abed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information from the American University of Science and Technology.
