Jana Zane

Jana Zane is an experienced product manager with a diverse work background. Jana currently holds the position of Product Manager at Source.ag, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at Qogita from August 2022 to June 2023.

Jana also has experience as a Co-Founder of a project called Going Remotely, which they started in July 2020. During their time there, they were involved in various aspects such as ideation, product-market fit validation, and building an MVP. The project achieved partnerships with the Croatian government, European companies, and local partners. Jana also participated in two accelerator programs (Startup Wise Guys, BAIF). Jana left Going Remotely in August 2022.

Before Joining Going Remotely, Jana worked at Zivver as a Product Manager and Product Operations. Jana initially started in a product operations role, supporting the VP of Product in team restructuring and setting up new processes. Jana then transitioned to a product manager role, taking ownership of a new product. Their tenure at Zivver was from March 2021 to July 2022.

Jana's previous experiences include serving as an Innovation Program Manager at TNW from November 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they managed and delivered innovation programs for corporate-startup collaboration. Jana successfully ran projects with various global industry leaders, corporations, and governments.

Jana also worked as a Research Intern in the Marketing Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from July 2017 to December 2017. Their responsibilities included setting up and analyzing lab and online studies, as well as participating in research discussions and seminars.

Before their time at VU Amsterdam, Jana worked as a Private Tutor as a self-employed individual from September 2012 to June 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as a Junior Assistant in Human Resources and Sales at Naton HR Global from November 2015 to March 2016. In this role, they provided support in HR and sales-related activities.

Jana Zane completed their education in a chronological manner. Jana pursued their Master's Degree in Social Psychology, specializing in Research, from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu between 2012 and 2016. Jana completed their high school education at 18. gimnazija from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Jana Zane has also obtained several certifications. Jana completed a Design Thinking certification from Growth Tribe in 2022. In 2020, they acquired the Facilitator certification from Mischief Makers B.V. Furthermore, they obtained a Growth Hacking certification from Growth Tribe Academy in August 2019.
