George Guimarães

George Guimarães has a long history of work experience. In 2004, they were a Project Manager at POLI Júnior. In 2005, they were a Finance Intern at BRF - Brasil Foods (Perdigao). In 2007, they were a Sales Intern at Oracle, an Integration Engineer at Gemalto, and a Co-Founder at Pagestacker. From 2009 to 2019, they were at Plataformatec, where they held various roles including Co-Founder, Head of Product Management, Account Executive, Director of Engineering / CTO, and Software and Infrastructure Engineer, Ruby Developer. In 2019, they became an Advisor at LoopKey and in 2020, they became the CEO of SourceLevel and an Advisor at Linkana.

George Guimarães is a Fellow at Latitud, specializing in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. George obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in 2016, with a focus in Finance. Their educational background also includes an Engineer's Degree from Escola Politécnica da USP, which they obtained in 2007 with a focus in Automation and Control Engineering. George also holds a certification as a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
