Scott Turner has a diverse work experience in the emergency services sector. Scott has worked for various organizations, including the South Australian Country Fire Service, AFAC News, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (Government of South Australia), the South Australian State Emergency Service, and BCA National Training Group.

At the South Australian Country Fire Service, Scott held several roles, starting as a Regional Officer in 1994 and progressing to become the Director of Regional Services and Operations in 2022. Scott also served as a Regional Commander and Manager of Learning and Development during their tenure.
