Melyna Santos has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at World Revival Church for the Nations for six summers. In 2015, they became a Student Supervisor Library Assistant at Fineman and Pappas Law Library, where they remained until 2019. During this time, they also interned as a Communication Intern at Dreams2Live4 in 2018. In 2016, they began a role as a Research Assistant at Boston University School of Social Work, which lasted until 2019. In 2019, they joined Mass Mentoring Partnership as an Americorps Ambassador for Mentoring QBM Associate, and also worked as a Milieu Counselor at Cambridge Family & Children's Service until 2020. Currently, they hold positions at South Boston Community Health Center as a Medical Assistant since 2020 and as a Nursing Operation Coordinator starting in January 2022.
Melyna Santos earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Boston University, completing their studies from 2015 to 2019.
