Kim Christ is an accomplished leader in workforce and education innovation, currently serving as the Director of Workforce and Education Innovation at the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness since July 2020. With a strong background in developing workforce programs, Kim has successfully implemented initiatives such as educational pathway mapping and high school standards-based AI curriculum. In addition to current roles in cybersecurity initiatives with ThreatCaptain and the Southern Regional Education Board, Kim previously directed SC Codes, establishing the first free statewide coding education platform. Additional experience includes program management at the South Carolina Department of Commerce, board membership at GREEN Charter Schools SC, and various IT leadership positions. Kim holds an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Limestone University.
