Brianna Barrett

Brianna Barrett is an experienced playwright and creative professional with a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting from UCLA. Currently serving as a Script Reader at South Coast Repertory since April 2023, Brianna has also held various roles including Box Office positions at Geffen Playhouse and as a Senior Writer and Show Supervisor at Pocket FM. Recent contributions to the creative industry include work as a Capture Artist at Dark Burn Creative, crafting content for video game trailers, and serving as a Playtester for Foton.Games. Brianna has been recognized as a Laughter Lab Fellow for the "Cancer Culture" TV series and participated in the Playwright Observer Residency at Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. Academic contributions as a Dramatic Writing Teaching Assistant at UCLA highlight Brianna's expertise in playwriting and course development.
