William Lawrence has over 20 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on managing and developing HR functions in various organizations. As the Director of Human Resources for South Country Health Alliance since 2016, they are responsible for policies and programs related to wages, benefits, recruitment, training, legal compliance, and safety. Prior to this, they worked at Crown Cork & Seal from 2007 to 2016, where they led HR, safety, and training efforts for multiple plants. William also worked at Allina Health from 1997 to 2006 as the Director of Human Resources for Owatonna Hospital, where they provided leadership and consultation on HR, education, and training. Throughout their career, William has successfully implemented strategies to reduce turnover, improve employee engagement, and enhance safety performance.
William Lawrence completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education from the University of Minnesota in 1984. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St. Thomas, which they completed in 2003.
