Joe Portz

Joe Portz has a diverse range of work experience. Joe is currently the Director of IT - Service Delivery at South Dakota State University, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the General Manager - Brookings at High Point Networks from August 2017 to October 2020. Before that, they were the VP and General Manager Brookings VAR at EarthBend from September 2015 to August 2017. Joe also has experience as the Owner of Integrated Business Solutions, LLC from January 2002 to September 2015, and as the RMA & Staging Manager at Special Teams Inc from 1994 to 1999.

Joe Portz earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from Southwest State University in Marshall, MN. Joe attended the university from 1988 to 1993.
