Michelle Pierce

Michelle Pierce is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head of Strategic Communications for South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council since March 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Head of Communications at Torbay Council from May 2009 to April 2023, and served as a Communications Officer there. Earlier in Michelle's career, the role of South West Area News Leader was undertaken at GCAP Media from November 2004 to August 2008, and Michelle worked as the News Editor at Gemini FM under GWR from April 2000 to October 2004. Michelle Pierce holds a BA Hons degree in Media Studies from the University of Sunderland.
