Wei Ding

Wei Ding is currently a Founder Fellow at South Park Commons and Co-Founder & CEO at UCR, both positions held since April 2024. Wei has extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer for Autonomous Systems at Apple from March 2016 to January 2023, specializing in motion planning, decision making, machine learning, and software architecture. Prior research experience includes serving as an Assistant in Research at the University of Michigan, where infrastructure for a robotics research lab was established. Wei holds a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, with a focus on Flight Dynamics and Control, from the University of Michigan (2014-2015), and a Bachelor's Degree in Aircraft Design from Beihang University (2010-2014). Wei completed high school at Hefei No.1 High School (2007-2010).
